Today we had a visit from M&M Prodfuctions who put on a performance of ‘Charlotte’s Web.’ We really enjoyed it. After the show all of the P6s got to take part in a workshop where they told us about lighting, costume changes and the sound system. They asked questions and were impressed with our knowledge and enthusiasm for Drama.

What a fantastic trip we had today! We were very busy from beginning to end. It was action packed with everything from a ‘Dry Dive’ to a ‘River Ramble’. We spotted lots of different types of wildlife…..and yes we were lucky enough to see the dolphins at the river mouth! We did our bit by participating in a ‘Waste Free Lunch’ competition and doing a beach clean before we left. We now all realise how lucky we are to have such a beautiful area on our doorstep and how important it is to look after it . Many of us are thinking we would like to go back there with our families in the holidays. Thank you to Mrs Mitchell and Mrs Ritchie for helping us.

Today ten P6 pupils went to a Kwik Cricket festival in Fochabers. They went with Mrs Mitchell.  Although they did not get through to the next round in Perth, they played well and represented the school well.

We took part in a very successful but rather cold ‘Litter Pick’ starting in Buckie on  the ‘Liney’and working along to Portessie.  The children from Portessie school then cleaned from Portessie to Findochty. We were pleasantly surprised that there was not as much litter as we expected. Tesco helped organise the event and thanked us for our help.
