Last Thursday we ran our cafe from 10 o’clock to 11 o’clock.

At our cafe we were selling the things at different stalls that we had been busy making. We all had a job at the different stalls.

We served the people that we had invited. We had to take their order on a bit of paper and then offer them a pancake. We had people whose job it was to spread the pancakes with butter, jam, chocolate spread or syrup.

It was very busy! After we tidied up we drew the winners of the competitions and counted the money. Between the 2 classes we raised £159.83 for the Archie Foundation. 

Thank you to everyone who helped us to make our cafe a success.

Today we have been making posters for different stalls in our cafe.

In PE we have been creating short dance routines along to the count of 8 in the music.

This week we worked in small groups to come up with a sequence that we could show the rest of the class.

This week we have been busy planning for our cafe.

On Wednesday we wrote invitations for our cafe. Our invitations told who we were inviting when the cafe is, where it is and what we will be serving.

This week we also finished off our crafts that we will be selling at different stalls.

We made posters in pairs for the different stalls and posters that gave directions of how to get to our cafe.

We are excited because the cafe is in less than 2 weeks! (Thursday the 19th March from 10am-11am.)
