Daily schedule

Sleeping routines can go out the window when we are on school holidays and it will be important for us all over the coming weeks to keep to some form of structure in our day.

Each day try and get up at the same time every day. Have breakfast then decide how your day is going to be. Try and build in some form of exercise every day. This will help in getting to sleep at night. We need our minds and bodies to be exercised during the day in order to be ready to calm down and sleep later on.

When this doesn’t happen, it is harder to get up in the morning and we can lose the whole day.

To prevent this, we have uploaded below a blank daily schedule for you to complete. You decide how your day is going to be filled and how productive you will be. How much time will you give to checking Show My Homework and then concentrating on what needs to be done? Build in time to make contact with friends and family, when you will sit down to have lunch and tea and when you can get time outside.

There is no right and wrong answer here but build a schedule that is right for you and your family and still accessing academic resources to keep your learning the best it can be before we return to school.
