After discussing and watching a BBC programme, War on Plastic, P1/2 we’re unhappy to learn that baby wipes are 80% plastic.  Also, they did not realise how much micro-plastic litter there was on land, sea and in the sky!  They were very concerned for the future and felt they needed to let others know about this.  The children hadn’t really thought about the sheer quantity of plastic within each household and what happens to it after we are finished with it.  Again they were shocked to see that Malaysia was an illegal dumping ground for much of our rubbish.  Such a huge concept to grab for such little people but boy did they feel ready to make a change in their own lives after watching this. #inspiredtoreduceplasticuse
