All of the boys and girls in P1/2 have thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the Grow Well Choices sessions with Sammy. They have learned about keeping healthy and active through listening to stories based on some farm animals who wanted to take part in The Highland Games.
Over the sessions we have learned about: making good food choices, having a healthy balance of good foods and treats, brushing our teeth and making sure that we have enough sleep every night, so that we are feeling refreshed and have lots of new energy each day.
Today the children got to take part in their very own Highland Games. We had lots going on… Tossing the caber, relay races, hurdles, shot-put and we finished off with a good old go of tug of war!
We even managed to get outside for a quick game of stuck in the mud whilst the sun shone brightly.
Everyone will be tired out tonight!
