We had planned to practise our spelling words outside earlier this week but as it was so wet, we decided to take the playground inside and use big sheets of black paper so that we could write our words out in chalk.

Eva and Maya decided that they wanted to do back writing and had a great time trying to guess which of their words had been written on their back.

Leon added to his very own phonics poster and Alisdair did choo choo words.

In reading some of us made our own prediction, summary and alternative ending booklet. Maya enjoyed having some quiet reading time and both Caitlyn and Cerryn were word detectives trying to spot all of the tricky words in their reading book.
