Today we have been learning about Polio.

 

*Polio is a very bad disease and it can make children’s bodies change.  Harris

*We only have 3 countries left to be Polio free, that’s good!  Freddie P

*It used to be a really common disease but now the Rotary Club have helped to significantly reduce this to 1% Annabelle

*Children under 5yrs are more likely to get this horrible disease.  Eva

*You can give 2 drops on the tongue and colour finger purple.  Elana

*The purple crocus bulb is used to promote awareness of polio.
