I would like to say a huge congratulations to all the pupils of Alves Primary. Last Friday evening a small group of six pupils joined Miss McWhinney and myself at the Mansfield Hotel for the Moray Young Citizen Awards. It was a fantastic evening of musical performances by high school pupils and delicious food. Alves Primary was awarded a Highly Commended Award for Primary Schools by the committee. The winners of the 2018 Primary school award went to New Elgin Primary’s Primary 5 pupils for all the incredible work they have done within their community. Well done New Elgin Primary and Alves Primary!
