I have investigated how whole numbers are constructed, can understand the importance of zero within the system and can use my knowledge to explain the link between a digit, it’s place and it’s value. MNU 1-02a

Primary 4 and 5 have been learning how to partition numbers up to 6 digits.

We have used Angry Birds and Pac man to create a number and identify the value of each digit in a whole number.

Hundred Thousand (Hth), Ten Thousands (Tth), Thousands (Th), Hundreds (H), Tens (T), Ones (O).
