On Friday evening the Parent Council organised a visit to Roseisle woods for a treasure hunt and BBQ. Many thanks goes out to Mr Morgan for setting up the treasure hunt which was a fun addition to an already successful event. To add to the excitement of the evening, we had to call the fire brigade as some irresponsible people left a campfire not fully extinguished in the woods. Well done to Mr Reid and Mr Morgan for spotting this as I am sure unnoticed we would not have a forest anymore. The fire started to spread from the fire pit about a 12 feet radius encircling a tree. It would only take a good wind for us to see a wild fire grow. I have attached some photos of the fire brigade. Well done Alves Primary for saving the woods!
