Moray Foodbank.
At our recent Community Groups meeting the Nursery to Primary Three Global Citizenship group were learning about the United Nations Global Goals for Sustainable Development.
They pretended they were the Kings and Queens of the whole world and worked together to answer the question “What are the biggest problems faced by people in our world?”
They then learned that the United Nations are working to empower everyone to make a difference by working towards their three main aims.
- End extreme poverty.
- Fix climate change.
- Fight inequality and justice.
The group then took action to work on the first two global goals; no poverty and no hunger.
They created a collection point for The Moray Foodbank.
The collection point is situated in the school foyer and everyone is welcome to make a contribution if they would like to.
