Tuesday saw four teams of six pupils taking part in the annual Moray Primary Schools Cross Country Races.  This year it was held at Buckie High School and about forty primary schools took part, with upwards of 160 runners in each race.

All four Applegrove teams were very successful.  The P4/5 boys and P6/7 girls teams placed third and the P4/5 girls and P6/7 boys were outstanding achieving first team places.

There were many Applegrove runners who placed in the top 25 of each race.  Individual race medals were awarded to David Spencer 2nd, Bruce Evans 3rd, Scott Perry 4th, Alistair Clark 5th, Erin McIntosh 6th and Lauren Anderson 7th.
