Boys and girls from P4-7 have certainly shown resourcefulness when given challenges to try in different outdoor locations. They have made shelters for pine cone families, created mini worlds, played games and built structures. They have enjoyed different walking partners each week, having conversations about favourite outdoor activities, places they’ve been to and sharing stories of getting lost! It is lovely to see how well children of different ages get along with each other.

Kodu is a new visual programming language made specifically for creating games. It is designed to be accessible for children and enjoyable for anyone. It is free to download onto a computer, and some of the children have been learning how to use it in TOPS.
Gardening Club Christmas Crafts
Children from Applegrove School Gardening Club have been very busy in the run up to the Christmas Fair. They have been making things to sell on Saturday at the Fair. Some children have been giving up their lunch break to help meet the deadline and have everything ready!
