Fairtrade Coffee Morning
Fairtrade Fortnight!
Pupils had fun taking part in different activites during Fairtrade Fortnight. We had a coffee morning on Friday 6th of March for parents and carers which was enjoyable. The children had a little treat, hot chocolate and a kit kat! Yum Yum! We raised quite a lot of money for Fairtrade which will do a lot in different countries around the world and will provide them with clean water, and fairer prices for their products etc. Thank you to everyone who brought in some home baking, they were delicious!

Primary 7 Biodiversity Display
Primary 7 were split up into groups to make a display about biodiversity. We each had quite a big part of our display boards to cover. All of the displays were different and the groups had chosen different Eco systems and animals to focus on. One group created a 2D rainforest and facts about sloths, another created a large board game just about Bodiversity in general, a group also made a huge poster with a large amount of information. We had only about 2 hours to cover everywhere on our board. This was a really good way to get us to work in groups and get things done within a time limit. It was really fun and a good way to learn.

#digilearnScot
In Scotland this week we are taking part in #digilearnScot week. In ICT we were using positional language language to code a computer game. Other classes have done a variety of things. Please look at our Twitter account. We made our own hashtag #challenge at the end of the lesson. Four people from Primary 5 are going to write a chapter of a book that has already been started off by other schools across Scotland on Glow using word online. The four children taking part only have one hour to complete it! We wish them luck. Classes are having fun going to ICT every week using the iPads and learning about how to use the computer.
