Over the last year we have developed and changed the way we welcome new children and families to the Nursery. This year we started off the first week with an open day where we also invited partner agencies. The day was a huge success thanks to the commitment of all involved. Our new children were given an informal introduction to Nursery where they could play and explore while Nursery staff were on hand if they required any help. During the day children and families also met staff from Midlothian Sure Start, Childsmile and Lawfield Parent Council. It was a great way to build relationships from day one.
