In Primary 1 we look for any opportunity to enjoy reading stories together. This builds our knowledge of stories and develops our imagination.

In Primary 1 we are encouraged to read independently.

In Primary 1 we use the 5-finger strategy to help us to read and write words with sounds that we have learned.
