Pedagogy And Support for Equity

Pedagogy and Support for Equity (PASE)
Welcome to the PASE (Pedagogy and Support for Equity) web blog.

I hope this site will be a valuable resource in supporting the mission, vision and ambition of the Scottish Attainment Challenge within Inverclyde.

Our Mission: To use education to improve outcomes for children and young people impacted by poverty, with a focus on tackling the poverty-related attainment gap, delivering on the Scottish Government’s vision of equity and excellence in education.

Our Vision: Excellence through raising attainment and achieving equity.

Our Ambition: To raise attainment for all, while closing the poverty-related attainment gap.

The refreshed Scottish Attainment Challenge, underpinned by a renewed investment of £1 billion from the Scottish Government through the Attainment Scotland Fund (ASF), reinforces our shared commitment to ensuring equity lies at the heart of the education experience for all learners across Scotland.

This site provides access to relevant information, resources and support materials for practitioners—linked to evidence-based approaches and interventions designed to narrow the poverty-related attainment gap.

I hope it serves as a useful tool in supporting ongoing professional learning, positively impacting classroom practice, and ultimately improving outcomes for children and families.
