Home Learning Update

Lesson materials are now available on this site for courses at all levels. Click on the Lessons link at the top to access lessons and homework for S1 to S6 Computing classes.

There are further resources available on Teams which pupils can access by logging in via Glow.

All software used in class can be downloaded from Teams to enable completion of practical work at home – however, whilst beneficial, this is not a requirement to be able to work from home.

Computing Science

Computing Science is all about making computers do exactly what you want them to do. Whether you want to design a multimedia website to promote and sell your company’s products or to showcase your latest art work; or maybe develop a program or app to create scientific models or measure fitness, Computing Science is the subject that makes all of this possible.

Computers have an enormous impact on the way we live, think and act. Nowadays, we live in a digitised, computerised, programmable world and to make sense of it, students need an understanding of the computing concepts behind the technology.

Computing Science and ICT courses at Clydeview Academy aim to develop essential skills for learning, life and work as students become increasingly confident at writing code and developing complex software solutions.
