Primary 7 have now settled back at school after the summer holidays. The children who went to Llagganlia had a wonderful time. Children who stayed at school were able to start our display of Roman Soldiers and contribute to the organisation of resources in the classroom. As soon as we have work to photograph and publish for parents to look at we will!

Rugby Coaching

Sinclair from HRFC gives some valuable coaching tips to the P7s
Great running with the ball!

We had three weeks of coaching with Sinclair Patience from Highland RFC.  The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Keep the ball moving before you get tackled..

Juice!!!

We were invited to attend Inverness Tennis and Squash Club for some tennis coaching.  Jamie helped us with our rallies and showed us how to serve.  It was excellent but just not long enough.  Some of the children would have stayed all day!

Rugby Festival

Primary 7 makes a bolt for the try line at the recent rugby festival.

All the P6s and P7s attended a rugby festival at Highland RFC.  It was fantastic.  We had a mixture of games and coaching.  Thank you HRFC.

Basketball Tournament

Some pupils from Central and Dalneigh went to a basketball tournament at Holm School on Thursday.  The pupils all had a really good time and Mr Kerr commented that the quality of play was excellent.  Well done chaps!!

Shinty Inverness City Qualifier

The Central Shinty Stars

Central Primary made a very promising start to the shinty season reaching the semi-finals narrowly losing out to the more experienced Raigmore side.  Playing with a free flowing attacking style the forward line of Ortega and Clark played havoc with defences.  But the success was down to solid team work with every player performing at their best.
