Iwould like to notify you that my class maits and I would like some playground equitment . I agree with this idea because of the benifits it will have on us . This playground equitment will keep children okupied there for there will be less fights in the playground that spils ioto class time.As you know we despritly need to work on our social skills this could help develop them. This would also make interval more intresting for the pupils of the school.Surly an inteligent person like yourself knowes how important fisical and mental fitnis is to young children.

This playground equitment would also benifit futer generations of st patricks primary. The cenior pupils yard is dul and boring there for there is nothing to okupi us.TO rais money we could do some fund rasing luke bingo nights or sponsord walk

I hope you will take my letter into porspective

Persuasive Letter- Playground Equipment

Dear Mrs Hagerty, HT ,

i am writing to ask you to take urgent action to install playground equipment in the senior yard and take it into serious consideration.I am aware and appreciate that you all ready have many great plans in place for our school, but I ask you to make this one of your top priorities.

I am conscious of the fact that children are suffering friends m bordem whilst out in the yard due to a lack of playground activities. As you have acknowledged in the past , this leads to pupils finding alternative games, one such ‘game’ as fighting.

I believe that you and our classroom assistants will have no doubt discussed the problem that football dominates the majority of the yard , often causing injuries, due to the lack of space where other pupils have to socialise. As well as injuries , arguments take place on the pitch that spill over onto valuable class time , as teachers spend lots of time getting to the bottom of the incident.

Furthermore, surely you will agree that we need to participate in outdoor activities that are fun , give us energy and encourage us to challenge ourselves? We spend many hours couped  up inside , therefore we should be encouraged to take advantage of the goodn, fresh , Scottish air and prepare us for the afternoon ahead .

Mrs Hagerty, I’m sure that you will agree that it’s now time for the senior pupils to benefit from some outdoor fun.It goes without saying that an adventure track would be suitable for both boys and girls to play in harmony.

Yours Sincerely, L.C
