Jen and Helen’s Wooly Craft Activity

Jen and her lovely daughter Helen have sent a great post to keep us all feeling busy and creative.  This looks like lots of fun.
Hello boys and girls, hope you are all well and keeping busy. Today I thought I’d show you what you can make with wool. Using everyday objects you can wrap wool round items for fun and make some nice art.
A good way to do this is to cut out cardboard shapes or letters and wrap the wool round the shapes to decorate them.
I used my Initial J for Jen and a H for Helen. We had good fun.
I also made a cardboard heart decoration and made a snake too. You can see from the pictures what we made and some other ideas for making wool art. If you have any wooden pegs you could try and make dolly’s and use the wool as clothes for them. You could use sticks and make a stick man ! I hope you have fun trying out this craft activity.
