October is seemingly the favourite month for headlice!  Please check your child’s head for any signs of eggs or head lice.  If you are not sure what you are looking for there are lots of helpful, and itch inducing, videos on You Tube.

The local chemist can advise on the best treatment, should you find any signs.  Headlice particularly love little children, with tender wee scalps, so it is really important to keep a look out for them.  They spread through contact with others so nurseries and schools are always good places for them.  We will only get rid of all of them if we are all vigilant!
