All ELCC places are allocated by East Dunbartonshire Council’s Early Years Department Admissions Panel, in accordance with the Council’s Admission Policy.

We offer a two year placement in our Early Learning and Childcare Centre (ELCC) setting:  Children can begin in the term following their third birthday.  We have a full curriculum developing a child’s educational requirements over two years, covering all eight key aspects of learning outlined in the Scottish Executive’s Curriculum for Excellence.

Places can be provided either in a local authority nursery or with a recognised provider in the private and voluntary sector who have been accepted onto East Dunbartonshire Council’s framework to provide pre-school education.

For administration purposes, parents are asked to complete an online registration form on the Council’s website at www.eastdunbarton.gov.uk in January. Relevant birth certificate(s) and proof of residency are required when enrolling child(ren) if they are East Dunbartonshire residents.  Parents who reside outwith East Dunbartonshire do not require proof of residency.
