Angela has continued her work on science experiments this week with an amazing experiment involving Coca Cola and a packet of Minty Mentos.
This one was a physical reaction, Angela told us. It happens when the bubbles of carbon dioxide gas are pushed out of the bottle by the sugar in the sweets. She told us not to try it at home!!!!
This bottle had 4 mento sweets in! Quite impressive!
This bottle had 8 Mentos in – a real explosion! Bigger than the measuring stick!
We took this experiment out into the orchard to make sure that we could keep everyone far enough away to avoid a drenching!
