Today, as part of our Scottish week activities- we had some lovely porridge oats in the water tray.  Mixed with water they turned lovely and gloopy and were a fabulous sensory experience.  This afternoon our lovely Orla got right into the experience and ended up wearing quite a lot of the porridge – so much so, at first we thought she must have had a bucket of it tipped over her head!!  She thought it was hilarious!  We did our best to clean her up and when her grandpa came to collect her, he was very understanding!  Even after we showed him this picture!!!  Phew!
