Why Teaching?

Becoming a Teacher has been a lifelong goal and I can wholeheartedly say that I have enjoyed my whole learning experience, from nursery to now. This has given me the passion to help assist others develop a memorable school experience, motivating me to pursue a career in Primary teaching.

Teaching provides an energising environment every day and the variety is endless. It offers the chance to be continuously creative and no two days are the same. From previous work experience I can guarantee that although there will be tough and stressful times, these are always outweighed by the constant laughter and growth of the children.

Despite various other reasons, the main factor which has always drawn me towards teaching is the opportunity for me to constantly learn. Teaching allows me to demonstrate and build on my skills and continue my love of learning. It’s important to remember that the classroom is an environment where everyone can develop, no matter what age.

Growing up being a somewhat shy child has encouraged me to make a difference and help to create confidence among children when it comes to their learning. Living in a modern world with endless opportunities, teaching is more important than ever before. For me there is nothing more rewarding than inspiring others to lead great lives, hence why teaching is inevitably the best career path for me.

Teaching will be a challenge and things wont always go to plan. It is important to remember that there will always be satisfaction somewhere and I am unbelievably excited to see where this journey takes me.
