In both the 2-3 and 3-5 room we have a ‘Proud Cloud’ display in the literacy areas. Staff will recognise something in the room that they are proud of a child for doing (individual to them) and they can be put on the proud cloud.

Examples of proud moments we have had:

• Being kind to a friend
• Riding a bike with no stabilisers
• Trying new activities or foods

We print out a picture of their proud moment and it’s displayed on the ‘Proud Cloud’. This moment will be included in your child’s special book and we send a small cloud home that states why your child is on the proud cloud to allow them to share this special moment.
