Christmas/New Year Closure
Just a reminder the centre is closed Wednesday 23rd December till Friday 2nd of January. We look forward to welcoming our returning children and new families back to the centre on Monday 5th January 2026.
Happy Retirement Irene
We wish our education assistant Irene all the best in her retirement. She has been with us at Largs EYC since we first opened in 2018, previously working at Kelburn Primary before all local schools moved to the campus.
We will miss you!

Memory Tree
For the month of December we have displayed our own LEYC Memory Tree. Families could take a blank tag and write a memory of a loved one that is no longer with us or for family members who may live far away or want to write a special Christmas message for them ❤️.

Donation Station
♻️ Our new Donation Station is up and running ! ♻️
As you are all aware we are part of the Eco Schools programme and we are hoping to continue all our hard work with a little help from our children and families. 🌟The children at LEYC enjoy being creative, imaginative and curious and one of the best ways to nurture these qualities is with loose parts play! Loose parts play gives the children the freedom of play using all sorts of different everyday objects as anything they wish them to be. So we are looking for your loose parts !
We would be grateful of anything you could donate, big or small. ( If you have a wee look at the station there are lists of suggestions. )
Is it a kitchen roll tube…… no it’s a Telescope 🔭, a pirate sword 🗡️, a magic wand 🪄
