Nurturing Families
Glasgow Educational Psychology Service have produced a set of resources, consisting of a powerpoint, posters, and leaflet, which can be used by settings to support:
- Building strong relationships between and within schools/ELC settings and the local community
- Development of a shared language and approach to understanding children’s development, behaviour and emotions using the nurture principles
- Parents and carers to feel empowered to develop their own ways of providing nurturing care
If your setting has nurture well-embedded, and is seeking to engage with parents and carers using the nurture principles, these resources could be really helpful.
