Rationale
Welcome to our How Good Is Our Play for Learning Collegiate Space.

Since August 2021, some colleagues from across Forth Valley and West Lothian Regional Improvement Collaborative (RIC) have been engaging together in a professional learning and leadership programme titled; Leading Your School Through Play Pedagogy.

Inspired by this, senior leaders from across the RIC wished to develop a framework that would support schools and ELC to implement and quality assure play pedagogy in practice. As a result, a short life working group was created and How Good is Our Play for Learning (HGIOPfL) was developed.

In March 2022, after positive feedback from an initial pilot, this framework was shared with colleagues across the FVWL RIC. This Space has been created to allow Practitioners to share, and gracefully uplift, ideas surrounding Adult Led, Adult Initiated and Child Led Play Pedagogy.
