Welcome to our How Good Is Our Play for Learning Collegiate Space.
Colleagues from across Forth Valley and West Lothian Regional Improvement Collaborative (RIC) have been engaging together in a professional learning and leadership programme entitled; Leading Your School Through Play Pedagogy.
Inspired by this, senior leaders from across the RIC wished to develop a framework that would support schools and ELC to implement and quality assure play pedagogy in practice. As a result, a short life working group was created and How Good is Our Play for Learning (HGIOPfL) was developed.

After positive feedback from an initial pilot, this toolkit was shared with colleagues across FVWL RIC.
To further support the use of the HGIOPfL Framework in settings, an interactive HGIOPfL Toolkit has been created on Thinglink, to share effective practice examples of Interactions, Experiences and Spaces. All featured examples of effective practice have been gathered from practitioners across our RIC and moderated and quality-assured by our RIC Early Level Team.
