Our first Practice Sharing Event was held between 9am and 12.30pm in Eastwood House in Giffnock, Glasgow on Tuesday the 5th of September 2023.

There were six facilitated workshops, click on the title to take you to the page and resources for that workshop

  • Bereavement and Loss – West Dunbartonshire EPS
  • Emotionally Based School Absence – East Renfrewshire EPS and Inverclyde EPS
  • Nurture and Attachment – Renfrewshire EPS
  • Playful Pedagogy – East Dunbartonshire EPS
  • Suicide and Self Harm – North Lanarkshire EPS and South Lanarkshire EPS

Each session allowed for professional dialogue between practitioners who have interest and service responsibilities in these areas, with each service having the opportunity to share any relevant resources they have developed.

Each session followed a similar structure:

• Scene Setting: Rationale National / Local / West Partnership Context
• What is each service doing (leads first) / what progress is being made?
• What can we share with each other?
• How can we collaborate with each other?
• What are our key reflections?
