Skills Scotland event, Glasgow: 18 & 19 Nov, SECC
Skills Scotland Glasgow, in partnership with My World of Work, is a two day event taking place at the SECC Glasgow on Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 November between 9.30am and 3pm, with a dedicated open evening for families, parents and carers on Wednesday 18 November 5pm-7pm. The event attracts over 6,000 visitors each year.
Skills Scotland events are all about inspiring the nation’s youth about their future careers and opportunities. The events attract thousands of young people from schools, colleges, community groups alongside their friends and families. At the events everyone can try different activities that give a taste of the skills and challenges that young people will meet in a range of careers.
The events are open to anyone aged 14-19, whatever their ambitions or abilities. The events showcase the range of opportunities available to young people including modern apprenticeships, education, training, employment, internships and other options.
