Scottish Computing Science Week 23 is happening! #CSscot23

Put a hold in your planner for the week of the 15th May 2023 and join us for exciting interactive live computing science lessons.

We’ll have more details of what to expect in these lessons nearer the time, resources you might require and skills you’ll need. There will be teacher training sessions throughout March and April to ensure you have the skills and knowledge to support learners in these live lessons.

These lessons and follow-up activities will be based on our refreshed computing science support for 22/23.

Teacher Leadership Programme 21/22 – Digital Enquiries

The Education Scotland Teacher Leadership Programme is designed to help participants to understand what teacher leadership means and looks like in practice. As a part of this process participants take an enquiring approach to developing an aspect of learning and teaching of their choosing as appropriate for the learners in their context.

Cyber First Aid Box launches

Cyber First Aid Box Launched

The Cyber First Aid Box is designed to support families recover from online harms.

Designed in partnership with Scott and Roxanne and Education Scotland’s Digital Skills team – it is a free resource available to everyone. 

Clicking on the image or link will open a new browser tab to the Cyber First Aid Box website. The site will ask a series of questions to help families determine the best response to a harmful online incident, including how to approach the subject with children and young people. possible solutions and the first steps to recovering form it.
