Callum Croughan, a teacher and digital leader, from North Lanarkshire Council will deliver this live lesson aimed at children and young people of all ages.
Learners will need access to a device with a web browser to participate.Â
They will need to be able to access Microsoft MakeCode Arcade. An account is not required to participate but learners will need an account to save their progress. Advice on accounts and registering learners with online accounts should be sought from your local authority, such as your Glow key contact or digital development officer.
Everyone loves playing games but who’d like to make their own games?
This live lesson will introduce learners and educators to some of the key concepts of games and the vocabulary of games. After identifying key features of games, such as genre and rules, we’ll switch it up and start to build a game using the free Microsoft MakeCode platform.
This session will be recorded.
A Glow login is NOT required.
