Safer Internet Day is the UK’s biggest celebration of internet safety. Each year focuses on an online issue or theme that speaks about the things young people are seeing and experiencing online.

Safer Internet Day 2025 will take place on the 11th of February 2025, with celebrations and learning based around the theme ‘Too good to be true? Protecting yourself and others from scams online’.

Cyber Scotland Week 2025 – 24 Feb – 2 March.

CyberScotlandWeek invites individuals, organisations and communities across Scotland to raise awareness of cyber security and strengthen our collective cyber resilience. It is organised by CyberScotland Partnership, who are a collaboration of key stakeholders brought together by the Scottish Government’s Cyber Resilience Unit, with the aim of raising cyber security awareness and building Scotland-wide cyber resilience.

This year’s theme, ‘Can’t hack it!?, highlights everyday actions everyone can take to improve their cyber resilience’, takes place from 24th February – 2nd March 2025.

Through a series of curriculum live lessons, sharing practice, and professional learning sessions during the week, CyberScotland Week aims to educate, support, and empower schools, educators, learners, and organisations with the knowledge and tools to stay secure online.
