This live lesson will introduce learners to coding websites using HTML and CSS. It will be best suited to learners who are confident with coding (eg they have had experiences with Scratch, Microbit etc)
In this interactive live lesson, learners will be given a basic pre-built website that generates random facts about computing. They will be guided through how to customise it using HTML and CSS – the languages of the web!
Leaners will
- Edit existing content: Change the content of the website to create their own custom page.
- Modify the design: Experiment with different colours, fonts, and layouts to personalise the look and feel.
- Gain practical skills: Develop basic web development techniques that are used by professional web developers!
Requirements
- Learners will need access to an internet enabled device. Desktops, Laptops, Chromebooks and iPad’s are all suitable for this task.
