ADA Festival Live Lesson: Tech for Gen AI Lesson with Tech She Can (aged 11 – 14)

Event Details

Part of the 5th ADA Scotland Festival

What to Expect:

Are your students interested in AI, how it can be used in their daily lives and how it might develop in the future? Could they see themselves working in a future career using or designing AI?

Join us on Wednesday 2nd October at 9:00am, when our Curriculum and Resources Lead (and experienced primary school teacher), Poppy Patel, will deliver a virtual 45 minute Tech We Can LIVE lesson for students aged 11 -14. This will be an interactive session where the children will be guided to complete paper based tasks and partner discussions – they therefore need to be based at a table with a piece of paper and pen/pencil.

Poppy will highlight the role Gen AI technology plays in our current lives, how it can be used for good and how it may develop. She will also show some of the careers within Gen AI technology that students could pursue in the future.

This lesson is being delivered to help celebrate the Ada.scot festival and is ideal for S1 – S3 (KS3 in England and Wales) in the classroom environment or from home. Simply complete the registration form to reserve your spot and we’ll send you a link to join the live lesson.
