Mathematics for understanding is one of the long and thin modules that I am currently undertaking in my first year, this means that I have inputs during both trimester 1 and trimester 2.  The module covers various different topics such as: Number, Money, Measure, Information Handling, Shape, Position and Movement.  It is designed to give us the confidence and the knowledge so that we are well equipped to teach these mathematical topics to our school students.
