CORE Numbers Step 3- I can understand 2D numbers

Remember to:

  • Order the numbers by their tens digit
  • Then- if they have the same tens digit- order by the units digit 

(Compare and order numbers from 0 to 100 use< > and = signs. Partition numbers in different, meaningful ways: 23=20+3 23=10+13)

L-

  • Say multiples 1-5
  • Say multiples 1-10
  • Say table
  • Jumbled tables
  • Fact family

I-

Jigsaw Numbers:

I can find the missing piece to 100. (54+?=100)

Remember to:

  • Make the units digit total 10
  • Make the tens digit total 9

C-

Subtraction Step 28- I can take any 2d number from 100. (100-35=)

Remember to:

      • Find the gap to the next multiple of 10
      • Find the gap from that multiple of 10 to 100
      • Add the 2 gaps, or
      • Make the tens digits add to 9
      • Make the units digits add to 10
