Weekly spelling words
I have created spelling activities on sumdog for you to play during the week and words will be updated every week. Spelling words will be based on the group you were in so I hope you have fun playing them.
Here are some strategies to use with your child when reading. Use it before you read, when you read and after you read.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend. I went for 2 walks yesterday and both times it was pouring it down. My trainers were soaked but was nice to get out and get some good exercise. This week we will be finishing our Roman story.

Good morning. It’s very grey and wet outside so fingers crossed the sun comes out. Today I would like to share one of my favourite stories, which I know you’ve heard, called ‘Explorer Trauma’. It’s features explorers who go to a seaside for their holiday.

Good morning. Yesterday was very warm and fingers crossed it stays lovely this weekend. Sunday is a special day called Summer Solstice which is the start of summer. So today here are some activities all about that.

Monday 8th June
Hope you had a lovely weekend. The weather was beautiful and I hope you managed to meet up with some folks you haven’t seen in a while. I cant believe it’s June already. Summer is on it’s way. This week we will be finishing The Firebird and starting a new book all about Egyptians so will be posting Egyptian themed work on the other ages during the next 2 weeks.

Wow it was a very wet day but yesterday. I had to visit someone with a birthday present and the wrapping paper got soaked. Fingers crossed it’s dry at the weekend.
