#KeepGlasgowCounting – Data Handling, 03.06.2020

Good morning!

Yesterday’s Glasgow Times newspaper published some fun data handling activities created by Glasgow Counts Team.
Here is the link for the digital copy:

I have also attached the tasks here; have a go at them today, tomorrow and during the weekend and don’t forget to upload some photos of your activity. You might want to play some of the games with your younger or older sibling…

The Numeracy Hive newsletter, issue 11

Good morning!

Here is the eleventh issue of The Numeracy Hive newsletter.

Thank you to all who sent their solutions to the Weekly Challenge and well done to those who got the answer right (see the list of the winners on the front page).

On Friday 5th June we celebrate World Environment Day; for this occasion our ‘Maths is Awesome’ article is about different forms of renewable energy. This week’s brain teasers are Pyramids and Coordinate Grid Challenge; I have also added web addresses if you want to stretch yourself further.

Have fun!

Dr Webster

P.S. I added the newsletter in both PDF and JPEG format.
