We have been advised by Community Police that the manning and enforcing of the School Car Free Zone on Neptune street will now be more frequent. They have also advised the following

“This week we have given a presence by blocking off the road and stopped vehicles travelling down. In the future we will be positioned further done the street and any vehicle that enters the street will be issued with a conditional offer of fixed penalty of £50.00 unless an exemption is provided.”

My understanding is that exemption is a residential permit to Neptune Street or a disability Badge. Your child attending school is not seen as an exemption.
