Within St Paul’s Primary School good attendance is encouraged at all times as this has the most positive impact on your child’s learning.

Parents are asked to telephone the Absence Reporting Team on 0141 287 0039 if your child is going to be absent. This can be done from 8am on the first day of absence.

If your child is going to be absent for some time, it would be helpful to know at the earliest opportunity.  The school uses daily text messaging to inform parents of their child’s absence if no contact is made.

All unexplained absence is investigated by the school and appropriate action taken as part of Glasgow City Council’s routines for ensuring the child’s right to an education is met.
