The children begin learning a Modern Language from Primary 1 with the introduction of Spanish.

Throughout the course of P1-P7, the children are taught to communicate in Spanish through the spoken and written word and taught skills and strategies which will prepare them for future language needs.

A second language will eventually be introduced from P5-P7 and other opportunities for experiencing languages will be encouraged
at all stages.  We will focus on a different language each month and have a ‘language of the month’
