 At St Francis we firmly believe that the outdoors provides children with one of the best possible environments in which to learn. We view indoors and outdoors as one combined environment and ensure that children can access these  whether it be in our outdoor playground or in our Rose Garden area. All staff believe that outdoor play is central to young children’s learning and play as it allows children to use effective modes of learning – play, movement and sensory experience.
