Welcome to St Francis Nursery website. St Francis Nursery is maintained by Glasgow City Council and employs qualified and experienced early years CDO’s to deliver high quality early learning and childcare for our young children and their families. Our staff team are keen to get to know you and your child, and look forward to supporting your child through this stage in their education.
In St Francis we aim to provide a calm, happy, safe, stimulating environment, where your child will be encouraged and helped to reach their potential. It is important to us that your child finds learning fun and receives lots of praise and encouragement as they encounter new challenges in their development.
We hope that by working with parents/carers we can provide the best possible start for children’s entry into nursery, laying firm foundations for the future.
Research shows that good quality nursery education has many long term benefits and we provide a safe, happy, caring and challenging environment, which promotes an ethos of inclusion and entitlement for all.
We look forward to working in partnership with you and wish you and your child a happy time at St Francis Nursery .
Kind Regards,
Mrs G Rutherford
Head Teacher
Good morning, we are looking for a preschool place for our daughter. We would prefer this school because she would feel safer attending it with her older sister, who is in P7 (Karolina Sliwinska). Could you please let me know how to apply for a place? Thank you.
