Transition to P1

Hello and welcome to our Family Learning Blog. My name is Mrs Mc Fadden and I lead family learning in our school along with all the other teachers.

I’m dedicating this section to parents and pupils who are starting primary 1 in August. Normally I would see you in person however sadly visits may be limited this year so I’m hoping I can give you as much information as you need here. You will be sent a link to this blog every time I update it with new information. I hope you find it useful and please comment on posts, ask questions and feel free to  email me any time.

UNIVERSAL CREDIT SUPPORT LINE – FREEFONE 0808 169 9901

As you will be aware, Glasgow Life has continued to offer a Universal Credit support service from our libraries via an appointment system.

This service has now moved to a phone support service only, which will be an important step in cutting down unnecessary journeys and protecting our customers and staff.

We anticipate that we may encounter some exceptional cases where a face-to-face meeting is essential in progressing a claim so we will be discussing contingency arrangements to deal with that in the next few days.

The Freephone number for the service will remain as 0808 169 9901

Please share

Support for Families

Good Morning Everyone!
I hope everyone is keeping well and safe. We all miss you so much at school. Our teachers have done an amazing job keeping lessons going through our blog posts. I am loving the photographs our children are sending in.

Please keep in touch as we are always available to support you and we love to hear from you. I know your teachers have been keeping in touch but I am also free to contact if you want to chat. Also please contact any member of your parent council for advice or help or you just want to tell them something. They have direct contact with me.

I am in contact with our local family learning officer who is very kindly keeping me informed of up to date information and help for families. I will post new information here so please check it out.

Stay Strong! Missing all my lovely mums (and dads) and of course your gorgeous cherubs ❤️

With Love Karen
