Good Afternoon

I hope you have had a lovely week. Here is our latest information & I have attached a rough plan of events in term 4 in order for you to plan early.

Family learning events term 4 2024

  • Emergency Meeting for Parents/carers regarding Education Cuts with Mrs Harker.
GLASGOW SCHOOLS PARENTS AND CARERS
With the news of cuts to GCC Education coming out, it’s time to act.
GCC has announced it is cutting its support for MCR Pathways, the city’s DYW workers will lose their jobs and 450 teaching jobs will go.
These cuts mean all our children, especially those with supported learning, will be heavily impacted as resources and staffing are stretched further.
As you know our school is very special where creativity, life experiences and dedication is evident every day in our staff, pupils & families. Cutting staff and resources would diminish the uniqueness of St Albert’s in supporting our community. We cannot lose this approach!!!
Please join Mrs Harker & staff on Thursday 21st March @ 2pm for an emergency meeting to discuss the resources we will lose and decide on action.
  • Health & Safety Door Policy

I am attaching our new Health & Safety Door Policy. This is for the safety of our staff, pupils & visitors to our school.

Please read the policy carefully so that you are aware of the changes.

Entrances to classrooms will close at 9.10am so if your child is late, please bring them to the front entrance.

Thank you
