The Highlands and Islands Music and Dance Festival took place in Oban at the beginning of May. A few pupils competed in the Highland Dancing competitions and as you can see below, Dòmhnall swept the board at the piano competition – against people nearly twice his age!

There will be a new Gaelic singing group starting after school on Mondays, for all pupils in the àrd-sgoil who have an interest in singing.
Rehearsals will be held between 3.15pm and 4.30pm every Monday, in the school library.
The choir will be taken by Iseabail MacTaggart, who won the Ladies’ Gold Medal at the 2004 Royal National Mòd.
Orcastra SGG recorded two pieces for the Ceol ‘s Craic programme on Celtic Music Radio. They were broadcast on Monday 8th February, and you can listen again to their performances here:
